Since 1790, the store at the corner of Main and South in Hopkinton, N.H. has been a mainstay of the community.

Our revisioning of the location opened in summer 2023, and we have called it Barrel & Baskit. It is designed to be the type of place you can visit with your kids on a Saturday morning, enjoy a cup of coffee and a donut and read the paper; a location where, if you’re driving through town, you can stop for a sandwich and a bottle of water; a place where you can catch up with a neighbor as you decide between steak tips or lemon chicken; and a quick detour on the way home to grab milk, eggs, and a bottle of wine.

We also offer the modern conveniences of weekly recipe kits from Local Baskit, heat and eat options from kitchens around New Hampshire and local farm products. Plus don’t miss our award-winning beer selection including mixed packs, plus cheeses, dips, breads and wines for all of your entertaining needs.
